Survival of the UnFit, July 6-21, mcconnell theater

Survival of the Unfit, the American premiere of a wickedly smart new comedy by multiple award-winning playwright Oren Safdie invites audiences to an edgy, mercilessly zany, meet-the-parents dinner party where hard, cold honesty is dished out and the unexpected is put on the table.

A world premiere, recent hit at the Moscow Theater of The Modern Play, the head-spinning dinner touches on themes of love, loss, loyalty, the acceptance of others’ shortcomings, and redefines what family means today.

Matthew Penn directed an outstanding ensemble cast featuring Emmy winner Carolyn Hennesy; Obie winner Daniel Gerroll, Helen Hayes Award winner Vincent Randazzo, and luminous Berkshire-based actress Sarah Keyes.

“superb cast… comic dynamite…Extraordinary…For a Perfect Comic Event, Get to See This Ideal Comedy.” The Berkshire Edge SEE review here
